The Hibachi Tiki Hut & The Brooklyn Caravan Present: The Brookyn Art Show Case. The Brooklyn Art Show Case is a bi-weekly exhibition held at The Hibachi Tiki Hut featuring both emerging and established visual artist from the New York City area. Friday, February 26, 2010 at 7:30pm The Hibachi Tiki Hut is located on 890 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY. The art wall was curated by ChangoBi The concept was simple.. every two weeks we feature 7 new visual artists on the wall and on opening night we have an open discussion where the seven artists explain the vision of their work and another seven creatives respond to their art work through a poetic or musical expression. The theme of this show is Creative DIVERSITY.

There was no Cover Charge. Just creative people supporting creative people. The Hibachi Tiki Hut featured The Starving Artist Special that night: 1/2 rack of fire wood baby back ribs and a Yuenling plus one side for $10.95.

El Tiki Hut Hibachi y hoy Brooklyn Caravana: El Brookyn Art Show Case. La Feria de Arte de Brooklyn de casos es un bi-semanal de exposición celebrada en La Tiki Hut Hibachi con emergentes y artista visual establecido desde el área de Nueva York. Viernes, 26 de febrero 2010 a las 7:30 pm El Tiki Hut Hibachi está ubicado en 890 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY. Mayor Mohamed Khairullah / Council President Peralta and Councilman Zakaria Campaign Kickoff

Friends of Khairullah Committee invited friends, family supporters, officials and most of all his Prospect Park community to the campaign kick off dinner which was on Tuesday, February 24, 2010 at The Brownstone. Mayor Mohamed T. Khairullah announced his bid for re-election along with his running mates, Council President Peralta and Councilman Zakaria. Thier host was Katiuska Esquiche, a educator at International High School and firm supporter of the Mayor and running candidates. Guest speakers were Passaic County Democratic Chairman John Currie, Senator John A. Girgenti representing New Jersey's 35th District, Al Demarest, Assembly Majority Leader Joseph Cryan representing the 20th District.Some of the community leaders that were present were Assemblywoman Nellie Pou, Assemblywoman Elease Evans, Commissioner Wendy Guzman, Candidate for Paterson Council at Large Maritza Davila, Candidate for Paterson Council at Large Danilo Inoa. The evenings entertainment was by Maysoon Zayid. She is a Arab-American comedian, actress, and activist.

Los amigos del Comité de Khairullah invitaron a amigos, partidarios familiares, funcionarios y sobre todo su comunidad de Prospect Park a la gran inauguración de la Campaña, que fue el martes, el 24 de febrero de 2010 en el Brownstone. El alcalde Mohamed T. Khairullah anunció su reelección a la Alcaldia junto con oferta en la misma boleta Presidente de Concilio Cristina Peralta y Concejal Adnan Zakaria. Máestra de ceremonia fue Katiuska Esquiche, un educadora en International High School y partidario firme del Alcalde y candidatos corrientes. Los oradores invitados son el Condado de Passaic Democrática Presidente John Currie, el senador John A. Girgenti representación del Distrito 35o de Nueva Jersey, Al Demarest, líder de la mayoría de la Asamblea Joseph Cryan que representa el Distrito 20. Algunos de los líderes de la comunidad que estaban presentes fueron la asambleísta Nellie Pou, asambleísta Elease Evans, Comisionada Wendy Guzmán, candidato a concejal por acumulacion Maritza Dávila, candidato a concejal por acumulacion Danilo Inoa. El entretenimiento por las noche fue Maysoon Zayid. Ella es un árabe-americana comediante, actriz y activista.

The Master of ceremony was Yuri Rodriguez and Mistress of ceremony was Commissioner Wendy Guzman. Girgenti, Mayor of Passaic Alex Blanco (First Dominican Mayor in the United States), Deputy Mayor Elsa Mantilla and Mayor of Paterson Jose "Joey" Torres

The Prospect Park PTA held it's 'Hollywood Sweethearts' Prospect Park Tricky Tray on February 11, 2010 at The Brownstone House in Paterson,NJ. A event that was filled to capacity and had teachers, students, residents and community leaders alike including Councilwoman Cristina Peralta, Councilman Samir Hayek and the mayor of Propsect Park Mohamed T. Khairullah. Everyone was a winner as more than 300 gifts were raffled.

El PTA de Prospect Park celebro su 'Sweethearts Hollywood' Prospect Park Tricky Tray el 11 de febrero de 2010 en el Brownstone en Paterson, NJ. Un evento que se llenó a capacidad y que los profesores, estudiantes, residentes y líderes de la comunidad por igual entre ellos el alcalde de Propsect Park Mohamed T. Khairullah. Todo el mundo era un ganador y más de 300 regalos se sortearon.

On the cold and winter evening of February 11, 2010 at Puerto Plata Restaurant in Paterson,NJ Candidate for Councilman at Large for the city of Paterson Wilkin Santana made a calling to the community to make a grand announcement. The curiosity sparked and many paterson residents and community leaders alike participated in thier presence. Thomas Gomez representing DOPOR (Dominican Political Representation) opened the ceremony speaking about what is DOPOR and about the importance of uniting the vote. Mr. Wilken Santana has decided to retire from his personal campaign race to publicly endorse Candaidate for Councilman at Large Miguel Diaz. Mr. Wilken Santana plans to run for 4th ward in the next term of 2012.

En la fría noche de invierno y de 11 de febrero de 2010 en Puerto Plata Descanse en Paterson, NJ Candidato a Concejal por Acumulación para la ciudad de Paterson Wilkin Santana hizo un llamado a la comunidad para hacer un anuncio de cola. La curiosidad y despertó a muchos residentes de Paterson y líderes comunitarios participaron por igual en su presencia. Tomás Gómez representa DOPOR (políticos dominicanos Represntation), abrió la ceremonia de hablar de lo que es DOPOR y sobre la importancia de unir a la votación. Wilken Santana ha decidido retirarse de su carrera campaña personal para apoyar públicamente Candidato a Concejal por Acumulación Miguel Díaz. Wilken Santana tiene previsto ejecutar para la sala 4 de la próxima legislatura de 2012.
